“We need to start thinking about where the next generation of engineers, computer scientists and telecommunication experts are coming from,” says Joe DiFonzo, chief technology officer for Syniverse Technologies, “and I hope that some of these children become a part of that field”. Syniverse Technologies Inc. is working with Academy Prep Center of Tampa, a private middle school for underprivileged students, to encourage children to explore careers in technology.
